my trip to siliguri
If you are at Siliguri, you might want to make a quick trip to the majestic Sevoke Coronation Bridge. Built in 1941 to mark the coronation of King George VI, The Bridge is considered among the best architectural wonders in the country. The Bridge spans the mighty River Teesta at the confluence with its tributary, the Rangeet and stretches from Siliguri to Kalihora. The 20 km drive from Siliguri is well worth it as the Coronation Bridge gives you a breathtaking view of River Teesta below and the tall green mountains on both sides. Till recently, visitors enroute to Sikkim or Darjeeling used to break journey here to admire the scenic view. The area is now being developed, thanks to the efforts of a non-governmental organization called Save Coronation Bridge Committee. From a brief stop over point, the Sevoke Hill region is today a major attraction for both locals and tourists who visit the spot to revel in the beauty of the emerald waters, set against the backdrop of abundant foliage and lush green hills.
love quote
Love has been compared to a garden of flowers, a river, a flame, illness and war; it is a language spoken by everyone the world-over, though it is not spoken often enough, and when it is words hardly seem adequate. It is given and received most effectively without cost or trade, and a holiday has been established in the honor of love, giving an annual excuse for recognition of affection. Sometimes love is serious, sometimes silly; other times love is sad or jealous, even angry. There has been something said about every face of love. No matter how painful it can be when it goes wrong, love is the most desired commodity in society today, which is why there is so much said about the subject. Browse through our selection of love quotes and see for yourself that “All you need is love.” – The Beatles

Saurabh Shushant.
Saurabh Shushant.
It
Was the winter of 2005 when I first met him. A handsome boy of curly hairs, wearing sharp goggles and little bit of smile with lots of confidence on his face, HE WAS NON OTHER THAN MY MAN “SAURABH SHUSHANT”. Actually he was a brilliant student and I had never seen such a mare talent in a boy of std. VIIth. He had six fingers in his right palm and that’s made him special. I can remember several qualities of him like writing very fast, understand the facts easily and deliver it to someone in such a way that the person can understand it very well. He was a good learner. Well these all were his qualities, but the time we first met was not a good experience. I thought he was an arrogant and very over reactive boy, because he was not like us. We often used to play game and talk something of our own interest but he always try to discuss and make a debate on the things of our syllabus that was worth irritating to us.
Slightly the time passed we get to know each other better. I observed him well from class 8th. He was not that bad. Actually he was a nice guy. The better I knew him the more I liked him because of his qualities. He was a very good orator. He delivered a splendid speech on the occasion of Republic day and in my opinion it was the speech of the day and he was the best man to listen that day. In class IXth or Xth our friendship grew stronger. He was also a good player. I saw him playing kho-kho, cricket and believe me he was very good. The more surprising thing for me was that he had the better idea of competitive exams like ‘FIITJEE, AKASH etc’ at the time when we were not really knew ABCD of competition.
Well these all were the qualities of him and I guess he will certainly have his ambition in his life. I am proud to have a friend like him. And In future it will be stronger “I WISH”.
